Welcome Members and Guests:

It’s been a long time coming, but we finally got the Local 1846 website up and running.  Our goal is to inform, protect and stay connected to our members.

We want our members to have a central information place to share ideas and download helpful material that can assist them while on the job.

With the new website, members will be able to:

• Have instant access to all of the available agreements our hub falls under.
• Have instant access to contact phone numbers from the local officers to medical and dental insurance.
• Have instant access to our "Fast Knowledge" section where the little bits of info you always seem to forget is easily posted and accessible.
• Have instant access to all the links you could ever want.  If it has to do with you, it has to be posted.
• Have instant access to meeting minutes.  Now if you miss a meeting you can view the happenings online, on your own time.
• Have instant access to forms: job insurance, UTU member applications, payroll deductions, we have it all!

Please take the time to look around.  We are under construction and will constantly be changing the look and feel of the site to better serve you, the members.

Remember, this site is your site and Local 1846 is your union!  If you have any questions or suggestions, please speak up and let your voice be heard.  Your ideas count. 

In the future, we plan on some unique additions:

• Claims reporting.  A simple ONLINE form will allow you to submit denied claims.  Now, not only one Local Chairman will receive it, but all of them.
• General Reporting.  See an unsafe condition, have a compliant or compliment or a question you just haven't got around to asking?  The Reporting form allows you to connect with your local’s officers and pass the word to fellow members.
